Ingredients:
To grind:
- Palak/Spinach: 1/2 cup
- Methi leaves: 1/2 cup
- Corriander leaves: handful
- Curry leaves: 1 sprig i.e. about 10-15 leaves
- Green chillies: 4-5 nos.
- Fresh Ginger, grated: 1 tsp
- Aesofoetida: 1/2 tsp
- Salt: As required
Dry Ingredients:
- Whole Wheat flour: 1.5 cup
- Baking soda: 1/2 tsp
- Baking powder: 1 tsp
Wet Ingredients:
- Curd: 1/2 cup
- Water: 1/4 cup
- Oil: 1/2 cup
- Beat the curd and water together. Add oil to the mix. Keep aside
- Grind all the ingredients mentioned under 'To grind' section. Add the ground mixture to the curd-water-oil solution and mix it.
- Fold in the dry ingredients into the above mix.
- Grease a bread loaf pan and dust it with all purpose flour. Pour the batter into the pan and bake it in a preheated oven at 170°C for 30-45 minutes.
Notes
- 1 cup = 180 ml
- Baking time may vary from oven to oven.
